Greyt Readers
all ages
Come read to the dogs! American Greyhounds will listen to stories YOU read to THEM. This program is offered in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. No registration necessary and it is FREE!
Paws to Read
all ages
Read to Timmy and Tessa! These adorable dachshunds are registered Delta Dogs, have experience working in the community, and plan to visit the library for an hour on the first Friday of every month (Sept.-Nov., Jan.-May). No registration necessary. FREE!
Book Babies
ages 0-2 years
Book Babies is an interactive story time for children ages 0-2 years and their caregiver(s). This program is offered in the Fall and Winter/Spring. The program is free but registration is required. We read stories, sing songs, and much more! Socialization/play time follows each program. Caregiver must attend with child. Siblings welcome.
Tiny Tots
ages 2 - 21/2 years
The Tiny Tots program features social and learning experiences for children and their parents. This program is offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Children must be pre-registered and there is a small fee. This 40 minute, 7 week program includes a short information period for parents, a short story time with an introduction to books, music, nursery rhymes, fingerplays and social activities of interest to babies and their parents.
Toddler Time
ages 21/2 to 31/2
The Toddler Time program is for children and is offered in the Fall and Winter/Spring. Toddler Time must be pre-registered and there is a small fee for craft supplies. This 30 minute, 7 week program includes books that are shared, fingerplays, songs, activities and crafts. Summer sessions vary.
Story Time
ages 31/2 to 51/2 (not in kindergarten)
The Preschool storyhour program focuses on children . Storyhour is offered in the Fall and Winter/Spring and each session must be pre-registered. There is also a small fee for craft supplies. This is a 45 minute, 7 week program that includes books that are shared, fingerplays, songs, activities, games and crafts. Summer sessions vary.
K-Klub
for kindergarteners only
K-Klub is a program offered during the Fall and Winter/Spring. K-Klub must be pre-registered and there is a fee for craft supplies. This 1 hour Club meeting includes books, games, snacks and crafts.
American Girl
grades 2-6
This program is for children, and will be offered seasonally. The American Girls programs are pre-registered, and there is a fee for each one. An "American Girl" is highlighted at each program with related crafts, snacks and activities.
Clever Cooks
elementary school
This is a cooking class for children in elementary grades. This class is offered in the Summer and in December and must be pre-registered. There is a specific age and fee for each Clever Cooks class.
Crafts
Grades 1 and up
The craft program is offered in Fall, Winter/Spring and Summer, and each craft must be pre-registered. There is also a fee for each craft due at sign-up. A parent or adult is expected to attend the craft program to assist their child.

Preschool Preview Night
The purpose of this special night is to familiarize families with local preschools. Preschool Preview Night is held in January of each year, and there is no fee. Representatives of area preschools provide information about their schools, as well as brochures concerning their schools philosophy, curriculum, tuition costs and enrollment procedures.
